Now we are looking for a Demand and Inventory Planner to join our Benelux & Beyond team in Amsterdam. The #1 goal of this role is to drive the demand and inventory planning for this market, ensuring availability of all our delicious chocolate for all our lovely customers (ranging from large retailers to web shop consumers). You contribute at the start of the planning process and are the cornerstone of logistic optimization.

You are part of the Finance & Operations team (5 full-time employees) and report to the Finance & Operations Lead.

Ready to raise the bar with us? Your responsibilities will be:

• Overseeing the full inventory process and ensuring that the physical stock positions are reflected in our data systems. You are allergic to both out-of-stock and waste; therefore, you analyze inventory, draft waste and shorts overviews and follow these up with the sales team. You get to enable us to take the next steps in supply chain management by optimizing safety stocks, developing inventory controls and implementing improvement plans.
• Driving the sales and operations cycle in the Benelux & Beyond market. You are the one analyzing the sales forecast, reviewing and discussing your findings with the sales team to make improvements. Since a structured sales and operations cycle within Benelux and Beyond market is in its early cycles, you get to be the one making impact by driving initiatives and challenging the status quo.
• Leading the demand process. You will become the specialist who knows better than anyone how much and which chocolate is needed in the short term and ensure this is reflected in the forecast. Together with our Homebase demand planner you balance the demand plans with the supply plans. You are also our gatekeeper for seasonal assortments (Christmas, Sinterklaas, Easter).
• Being the stand-in for our Customer Logistics Manager. The show must go on, and when our Logistics Manager is taking a well-deserved break, you will make sure that the chocolate flow to our chocofans continues, together with the Co-pack and Logistics Partner Manager.

• You have 2-5 years of experience in a relevant role in operations, inventory planning, logistics or supply chain.
• Time management, setting priorities and organizing tasks are a piece of (chocolate) cake for you.
• You are an analytical problem solver with an eye for detail. You are experienced in using multiple complex systems.
• You are a real self-starter and enjoy taking initiatives to improve processes.
• You communicate efficiently and with a smile, and enjoy building relationships with fellow Tony’s and external partners. You are fluent in Dutch, as you will be in contact with many Dutch clients and customers.
• Last but not least, you can make chocolate from anything: you deal smoothly with the challenges that come with a growing company, and positively contribute to team Tony’s performance.
